This is my favourite film, not fully sure why but it is, it could be because I relly like Ilford and 400ISO films, but maybe not 'cause I don't use Delta 400. This is a great go to film. It 'pushes' well, it can be 'pulled' so it makes it very versatile! Try it out and if you're dissapointed, try something else. Usually people are Tri-X people, HP5 people or puppy people.
Here is what Ilford have to say about it:
ILFORD HP5 PLUS is a high speed, fine grain, medium contrast black & white film making it an excellent choice for journalism, documentary, travel, sports, action and indoor available light photography.
